About Grasscar

             Grasscar is a local lawnmower racing organization, that has joined ARMA (American Racing Mower Association). We are currently transitioning to the ARMA rule and class structure. Grasscar does maintain one class of mower that can be highly competitive for a fairly low cost....and still go fast!!!
             We encourage the whole family to race, with classes for kids, ladies, and seniors (where participants are available). We’re here for competition, fun and camaraderie.
             Everybody will race provided that they are not in violation of insurace and safety requirements If their machine is in technical violation, they will run “scratch” and they may not be allowed to score a win until they are in compliance.
             It is the general policy of this group that the purpose is to have fun. Competition is part of the fun, but it will NOT override the concept of having a good time and promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie. Adult behavior and good sportsmanship is expected and those that cannot adhere to those concepts are invited to leave until they can comply.
             Grasscar currently has members from the age of 10 years old ot he age of 72 years old. Ladies race, too. When participation is great enough they even race in a class of their own.
